A serious accident on southbound I-287 in Westchester shut down all lanes near the Tappan Zee Bridge span before being cleared Monday evening.
The crash, between Route 9 and I-287 in Tarrytown, was cleared by 9:15 p.m.
Minor injuries were reported.
There were also delays on the NY/NJ border following an accident that blocked the left lane of the northbound Garden State Parkway.
