20-Year-Old From Westchester Sentenced For Fatally Stabbing Teen
A man will spend decades in prison after fatally stabbing a teenager in Northern Westchester and proceeding to attack a fellow detainee while in jail. Jahliv Niles, age 20, of Peekskill, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision for the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Omarion McKenzie. He was also sentenced to two years in prison with three years post-release supervision for attacking a fellow detainee at Westchester County Jail in Valhalla. In May, Niles pleaded guilty to felony counts of manslaughter and second-degree assault. …

Burglar Caught Climbing Out Of Westchester Window, Police Say
A man was caught climbing out of a second-story window after allegedly breaking in and attempting to steal commemorative coins from the home, police said. Officers from the Westchester County Police Department responded to a residence on Main Street in Mount Kisco at approximately 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, when the homeowner returned home and found that someone was unexpectedly inside. Police: Westchester School Bus Driver Arrested Trying To Meet Child For Sex
A 22-year-old school bus driver in Northern Westchester is behind bars after he was arrested after police say he had sexual contact with a minor and also sent sexually explicit text messages and images. Brayan Moscoso Arias of Peaceable Hill Road in Brewster, a bus driver in the Bedford Central School District, was arrested by Westchester County Police on Friday night and charged with sexual abuse and disseminating indecent material to a minor, both felonies, said Kieran O’Leary, public information officer for the county police.
