Mamaroneck Teens Qualify For National Skating Championships
Two Mamaroneck High School girls earned spots to compete at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Portland, Ore., from Feb. 22-24. Hannah Siegel and Allison DeLaet, along with their teammates from the Team Image Synchronized Skating Team in the Novice Division, qualified as a result of having won the Gold Medal at the Eastern Sectional Championships in Fort Myers, Fla. on Jan. 20. Westchester Teens Qualify For National Skating Championships
Four Chappaqua teenagers -- Allison Bray, Rhianna Gold, Lauren Sallay and Emmy Sloan -- have earned spots to compete at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Portland, Ore., from Feb. 22-24. Gold and Sallay competed at the Eastern Sectional Championship in Florida last weekend with the Skyliners Novice line, and took the Bronze medal with their dramatic "Phantom of the Opera" program.
