After 22 years in business, a popular Westchester restaurant is closing its doors due to the loss of its lease. Sunset Cove Restaurant, known for its classic Italian fare and scenic location overlooking the Hudson River and new Tappan Zee Bridge in Tarrytown, announced on Sunday, Feb. 28 it was closing its door for good. No one was injured during a crash of a tractor-trailer on the new Tappan Zee Bridge shortly after the arrival of the Nor'easter, one of many crashes already reported in the region. The crash took place during the early morning hours on Monday, Feb. 1, after the tractor-trailer lost control due to the weather conditions in Orangetown, said Trooper Tara McCormick of the New York State Police. This story has been updated. A woman who jumped from the upper deck of the mid-span of the Tappan Zee Bridge has been transported to a hospital. The woman jumped from the bridge around 9 a.m, Monday, Dec. 7, near Tarrytown, said the New York State Police.
