Rye Swimmers Win Westchester/Fairfield League Title, Place At States The Rye Y Wave Ryeders capped off a winning season on March 18, placing 4th overall out of 40 swim teams at the YMCA State Championships in Buffalo.  The Rye team racked up its highest point total ever at the State meet and brought home several individual and team awards. Individual state champions are: Talya Appelbaum, Nate Baumstark, Maeve Bruton, Audrey Li and Megan Tiedemann.  Team members Maeve Bruton, Ayana Ite, Kayla Lombardo, Victoria Mordaunt and Megan Tiedemann won the first place championship for the 10 and under girls free and medley relays.  The Wave Ryeders placed first in t…
