Covid-19: New Vaccine Pop-Up Sites Announced In Hudson Valley Area New York State officials have announced a series of new COVID-19 vaccination pop-up sites across the Hudson Valley area. The new sites are part of the state's #VaxtoSchool campaign, an effort to increase vaccination rates among school-aged New Yorkers, the state said.  The first two sites will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 3. Covid-19: Worker At Resorts World Tests Positive Visitors to the Resorts World Catskills are being warned of possible COVID-19 exposure after one of the casino's employees tested positive for the virus. The Sullivan County Public Health Services has confirmed that the Resorts World Catskills employee tested positive for COVID.  There is currently no indication that the employee contracted the virus at the casino or impacted anyone else, the department said. Covid-19: Hudson Valley School Closes After Positive Case, 22 Percent Of Staff Under Quarantine There has been a new school closure due to a positive case of COVID-19 in the Hudson Valley. The school, in Sullivan County, is the George L. Cooke Elementary School, where a staff member tested COVID positive and several other staffers are in quarantine, the Monticello Central School District announced.
