Lane Closures Planned For Stretch Of Sprain Brook Parkway State officials have announced planned lane closures along a stretch of the Sprain Brook Parkway to facilitate roadway striping. The New York State Department of Transportation said the single and double lane closures are set for the northbound parkway between State Route 100C and Hospital Road in Mount Pleasant. The closures are set to take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, officials said.

ID Released For Westchester Man Killed In Four-Vehicle Crash On Sprain A 62-year-old Westchester man was killed in a four-vehicle crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh. Denis E. Mays of Mount Vernon was killed around 4 p.m. Wednesday after fleeing the scene of a crash, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the New York State Police.  According to Hicks, Mays was driving a 2016 Infiniti and was involved in a property damage motor vehicle crash on State Route 100C and then fled the scene southbound on the Sprain Brook Parkway.  Approximately a half-mile south of the initial collision, Mays struck a 2015 Toyota while attempting to move from the right la…
