Several Hudson Valley communities are among the “best places to live in America” in 2022, according to a newly released poll.
Each year, Niche explores the best places to live in the US, evaluating factors that include crime, public school systems, job opportunities and local amenities.
Using data based on the US Census, FBI, US Bureau of Labor (BLS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other sources, Niche then ranked the top places to live across the country, led by Chesterbrook, a suburb of Philadelphia.

On what would have been his father’s 88th birthday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo unveiled the shared bicycle and pedestrian path at the new Tappan Zee Bridge, which connects Westchester and Rockland counties.
Cuomo was in Tarrytown on Monday, June 15 to officially open up the 3.6-mile path, which is expected to be a boon for businesses in the region.
