Lane Closures: I-684 In Westchester To Be Affected Motorists in Northern Westchester are being warned of lane closures that will affect traffic on Interstate 684.  Two lanes of I-684 southbound will close between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 7 (Route 116) in North Salem on Saturday, Aug. 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The closures will last between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m., officials said.  The interruption to traffic is meant to facilitate bridge deck repairs.

A rollover crash of a tractor-trailer carrying thousands of gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline in Northern Westchester caused a lengthy road closure on Route 116. The crash took place around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday on Route 116, also known as Titicus Road, in North Salem, leaking some of the diesel fuel it was carrying, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
