Student Pictured With Suspected Firearm Sparks Investigation In Hudson Valley Authorities are investigating a report involving a Hudson Valley student allegedly photographed with what appeared to be a firearm on school grounds, police announced. The investigation began in Putnam County late Tuesday, Dec. 10, when the concerning image was reported to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer by the Putnam Valley School District, the Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Update: Hudson Valley HS Student With 'Heart Of Giant' Gets Paid Trip To Super Bowl A Hudson Valley high school student who has persevered despite his cerebral palsy diagnosis and was presented with an award from the New York Giants was also able to enjoy a free trip to the Super Bowl.  Putnam County high schooler Eduardo Recinos, a student at Putnam Valley High School, was presented with the 2023 Heart of a Giant award by the New York Giants in early December 2023. In addition to getting the chance to meet Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, Recinos was also gifted four tickets to the Super Bowl, which was held on Sunday, Feb. 11.  Earlier Rep…
