Lane Closure: Busy Roadway To Be Affected For Months In Westchester An upcoming lane closure is set to affect traffic on a stretch of a busy state route in Northern Westchester for several months.  A single lane of State Route 9A in both directions in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close beginning on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:59 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last through Thursday, Nov. 30. The reason for the extended lane closures is to allow for a widening of the roadway, officials said.

Lane Closures To Last Months On Major State Route In Westchester Commuters who regularly travel on a busy roadway in Northern Westchester will soon have to endure lane closures for several months.  Beginning on Monday, Feb. 27 at midnight, one lane in both directions of Route 9A in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close, according to an announcement by the New York Department of Transportation.  Drivers will have to deal with the closures until Sunday, June 18, officials said.  The lane closures are to allow for construction work.
