Postal Worker Arrested For Allegedly Dumping Mail In Woods In Westchester
A U.S. Postal worker has been arrested for dumping a large amount of mail in the woods in Somers. Stephen Harris, age and address unknown, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 25 by USPS-OIG agents and New York State Police, and charged with official misconduct and obstruction of public servants generally, said Jeffrey Powers, Assistant Special Agent In Charge with the U.S. Postal Service, Inspector General's Office. The mail was found in Somers near the intersection of Voris Drive and Wellington Lane. The undelivered mail was recovered by agents and the investigation is ongoing, he said. Harris …
