Speeding Drunk Driver Crashes BMW Into Parked Cars, House Off Route 9, Police Say A speeding motorist who was driving drunk is facing multiple charges after crashing a BMW into several parked cars and then a house in the area, state police said. Troopers observed a white 2002 BMW northbound on Route 9 in the town of Poughkeepsie traveling in excess of the posted speed limit on Friday, Aug. 31, state police said. Troopers observed the operator lose control of his vehicle, and strike several parked cars before crashing into a house on East Cedar Street, according to state police.
