A longtime Connecticut resident from Northern Fairfield County who has been missing since 2013 has been found dead in an upstate New York apartment living under a different name. On Monday, July 29, 2013, officers from the Newtown Police Department received a call to check on Robert Hoagland as he failed to pick up a family member from the airport, said Newtown Police Lt. Juvenile Used Racial Slurs After Remotely Breaking Into HS Class In Region
A juvenile is facing several charges after remotely breaking into the online classroom of a high school in the region, and then using racial slurs, according to police. The incident happened in Connecticut in the fall of 2020. Late on Friday, May 28, in Fairfield County, members of the Newtown Police Department charged the local youth for cybercrimes. A 40-year-old woman removed her face covering and spit at a man in an area supermarket after getting into a dispute over social distancing, leading to her arrest, police said. Sandy Hook Elementary Receives Bomb Threat On 6th Anniversary Of Massacre
Sandy Hook Elementary School students were sent home Friday morning after the school received a bomb threat on the sixth anniversary of a mass shooting that left 20 first-graders and six educators dead. School personnel reported the threat to Newtown Police around 9 a.m. Friday, said Lt. Aaron Bahamonde.
