A doctor reported to members of the department at Scarsdale Police Headquarters on Saturday that someone had used her professional credentials without her consent to prescribe narcotics on two separate occasions. According to police, the woman was contacted by a pharmacy on Oct. 18 to confirm a past prescription request, which was called in by phone days earlier.
