Car Crashes Into Storefront Of Busy Westchester Market A car drove into the storefront of a busy market early Thursday afternoon, sending shoppers scrambling in Northern Westchester. The incident took place around 12:08 p.m. when an elderly man drove into the front of Cole's Market at 2147 Albany Post Road in Montrose, said State Police spokesman AJ Hicks. Hicks said the incident is under investigation, but there are no known injuries. The building department is on the scene to check for structural damage.  This is a developing story. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Friday that 32-year-old Heriberto Morales of Yonkers has been charged by a grand jury in a seven-count indictment that was released this week. He stands charged of murdering a Northern Westchester man who was working for a private carting company at the time of his death. Five Cats Killed In Westchester House Fire Five cats were killed in a Northern Westchester house fire that is believed to have started in the kitchen, according to firefighters. Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department was called to a house fire on Maple Street around 3:30 p.m. Monday and found the house in flames, with no one at home, the department said. Due to a coordinated, aggressive interior fire attack, the fire was held to the kitchen and a second-floor room, and the neighboring house was saved but did sustain some damage from the radiant heat, the department said.
