New Update: Woman Fatally Struck By Truck While Crossing Busy Road In Westchester Authorities are investigating a crash that left a woman dead on a busy Westchester road.  The collision happened on Wednesday, Sept. 25 just before 4:15 p.m., when a woman was fatally struck by a utility box truck while crossing North Avenue at the intersection with Lockwood Avenue, according to New Rochelle Police.  The woman, who police have not yet identified, was taken to Montefiore Emergency Room and pronounced dead.  North Avenue was temporarily closed to traffic between Lincoln Avenue and Garden Street on Wednesday evening as the department investigated the crash…
