Girl Injured After Being Hit By Falling Tree Branch While Trick-Or-Treating In Westchester A night of Halloween trick or treating quickly turned dangerous when a 9-year-old girl was hit by a falling tree in Westchester. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31 in New Rochelle, on Maywood Road, when a tree fell on top of the girl, trapping her beneath, said New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa. Responding New Rochelle officers found the girl had already been pulled from beneath the large tree by a nearby resident who heard the crash from inside his residence,  Costa said. The young girl sustained multiple fractures and was transported to an area hospital.…
