Duo Caught At Train Station After Robbing Bank In Ardsley
A man and a woman were apprehended at a train station in connection with a robbery at a bank in Westchester, police announced. The robbery happened on Thursday, June 20 just before 9:30 a.m., when the Chase Bank at 875 Saw Mill River Rd. (Route 9A) in Ardsley set off a hold-up alarm. After receiving a call from Chase Security, officers from the Village of Ardsley Police Department were at the scene in less than a minute, the department said. Man Found Clinging To Dock In River In Westchester On CT Border: Police
A man was hospitalized after being pulled from a freezing river in Westchester on the Connecticut border, where he was discovered clinging to a dock. The incident happened on Sunday, Nov. 12 around 1 a.m., when authorities were told that someone needed help in the area of the Byram River on the border between Port Chester and the Fairfield County town of Greenwich. Man, Woman Burned In House Fire Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center
A man and a woman were seriously burned during a raging fire at their Hudson Valley home. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 4:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, on Overlook Drive in Campbell Hall. According to Chief Mark Ballard of the Campbell Hall Fire Department, the two residents were found on the front porch when firefighters arrived on the scene. Both had serious burns and were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, the chief said. Man Hospitalized After Being Hit In Head By Bat On Halloween In Hudson Valley
An area man was seriously injured after being hit in the head with a bat on Halloween. The incident took place around 8:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31 on Fountain Place, in Poughkeepsie, said the City of Poughkeepsie Poice. When police arrived on the scene of the attack, they found a man who had been struck in the head with a baseball bat, police said. Man Found Dead At Park In Area, Police Say
The body of a man was found at a park in the Hudson Valley by a passerby. The body was discovered around 4 a.m., Thursday, June 17, in Rockland County, at Spring Valley’s Memorial Park. The person who found the body called 911 and officers responded to the park where a bystander was attempting to perform CPR, said Spring Valley PD Detective Matt Galli. Man Slashed While Waiting For Car In Valet Area At Westchester Apartment Building, Police Say
A man waiting for his car in the valet area of a luxury apartment building in Westchester was slashed in broad daylight, police said. The incident happened Saturday, Aug. 8 at 12:10 p.m. at the 360 Huguenot Apartments in New Rochelle.
