Vehicle Rolls Over In Crash On Route 9 In Irvington
Crews had to clean debris from a busy Westchester roadway following a two-vehicle crash that left one car flipped on its side. The crash happened on Tuesday, Aug. 20 just before 7 p.m., when two cars collided at the intersection of Main Street and South Broadway (Route 9) in Irvington, the Irvington Volunteer Fire Department said on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The drivers were able to get themselves out of the vehicles and were later evaluated by EMS crews. After around 45 minutes, all of the debris from the crash was cleaned from the roadway, the department said.

Fake Report Prompts Large-Scale Police Response In Irvington
A swatting incident led to an extensive police response in Westchester, prompting authorities to begin a search for the perpetrator of the false report. The incident happened on Thursday, May 25 just before 2:30 p.m., when an individual made a false report that led to a large police response near the lower area of Main Street in Irvington, according to Irvington Police. 19: Popular Texas Style BBQ In Irvington Closed Through Year's End
A Westchester barbecue restaurant with rave Yelp reviews will remain closed until the end of December due to the economic impact of COVID-19. "We are currently closed until we can reopen safely due to the impact of coronavirus," reads Revenge BBQ's website. According to Yelp, establishment on Main Street in Irvington will remain closed until Dec. 31. The establishment is known for its burgers, brisket, "dinosaur ribs" and pulled pork. The restaurant is so named because, according to owners Jacob and Catherine Styburski, “happiness is the best revenge."
