Firefighter, 2 Others Injured In Blaze At Westchester Eatery
A basement fire at a popular Westchester eatery resulted in three people being injured, including a firefighter who was hospitalized. The incident happened on Wednesday, Nov. 8 just after 10 a.m., when the Larchmont Fire Department responded to an active basement fire at Bagels by Sofia located at 145 Chatsworth Ave. According to the department, arriving crews found plenty of smoke pouring from the eatery and upon entering, discovered heavy flames in the basement. One Dead, Two Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Utility Pole In Westchester
One person was killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Westchester and the vehicle burst into flames. The incident took place around 2:37 a.m., Sunday, April 11, in front of 1395 West Boston Post Road in the town of Mamaroneck. The vehicle, a 2003 Honda Accord, struck a utility pole and a fire engulfed the vehicle, said Lt. James Maher of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department. Two Ejected, Five Hospitalized In Serious Westchester Crash, Police Say
Multiple ambulance companies in Westchester responded to a “serious” one-car crash that left five hospitalized with various injuries, police said. The Scarsdale Police Department received a report of a crash on Brewster Road shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11 where a driver struck a tree in the area.
