Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation Of Hudson Valley Mall
A popular mall in the area was evacuated after a bomb threat. The incident happened on Friday, May 7 at the Hudson Valley Mall, located in Ulster County, in Kingston. The threat was called into Dick’s Sporting Good adjacent to the Ulster County COVID-19 vaccination POD site at the mall, according to authorities. Psychological Thriller Filmed In Hudson Valley Debuts On Amazon Prime
Hudson Valley residents may recognize some set locations in a newly debuting Amazon Prime psychological thriller that was filmed in the region. Walden native Brian DiLorenzo, first-time director, and writer of “Myth,” a film released on Amazon Prime last week, highlights several spots in Orange, Putnam and Ulster counties which were filmed years ago, including several restaurants and homes in the area. Sears Store In Hudson Valley Among 103 Closing Nationwide
A Sears store in the Hudson Valley is among 103 closing nationwide, parent company Sears Holdings announced.All told, 64 Kmarts and 39 Sears stores nationwide will be shutting their doors permanently between early March and April, Sears Holdings said.
