Medical Center In Westchester Evacuated After Threatening Text
An area medical center was evacuated after receiving a threatening text message. The threat to the business, the Open Door Medical Center at 165 Main Street in Ossining, came in around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, the department said. The building has been evacuated and the area is being searched for suspicious items by the Westchester County Police Special Operations Division. Main Street is currently closed to traffic. High School In Westchester Evacuated After Threat Found In Bathroom
An area high school had to be evacuated on Thursday morning after a written threat was found in a bathroom. Lakeland High School was evacuated at approximately 11 a.m. on Thursday to allow officers from the Yorktown Police Department and a bomb squad to investigate a written “non-specific” threat that was found in a bathroom, school officials said.
