Construction of a 27-story luxury apartment tower located in the downtown area of a city in Westchester has commenced. A groundbreaking for the tower, located at 33 Westchester Place in downtown New Rochelle, was held on Tuesday, May 23 by developer Allstate Ventures and city officials, including Mayor Noam Bramson. Developers Propose New 225-Room Hotel In Westchester
With New Rochelle’s downtown revitalization continuing as part of the “the most ambitious redevelopment in city history,” a new hotel may be heading to Cedar Street. Developers have proposed a new hotel downtown on Cedar Street - with a design similar to that of the High Line, according to New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson - which would sit adjacent to I-95 at the site of the former Don Conqui and Got Soul restaurants.
