City officials in Northern Westchester are calling for the resignation of a councilman who allegedly used his close relationship with a judge to get his friend out of a traffic ticket. New Principal Named At Middle School In Westchester
The search for a new middle school principal in a Northern Westchester district ended up settling on a candidate very close to home. Donald Peters has been named the new principal of Peekskill Middle School, Peekskill City School District Superintendent David Mauricio announced on Wednesday, May 17. Pipes Burst At School In Westchester: Cold Temperatures Cause Flooding
Freezing cold temperatures caused pipes to burst in a Northern Westchester Middle School, which resulted in parts of the building flooding. At around 3 p.m. in the afternoon on Saturday, Feb. 4, a fire suppression sprinkler in the ceiling of a stairwell at Peekskill Middle School froze because of the high wind gusts and cold temperatures, according to a letter sent to parents by Superintendent David Mauricio.
