Recall Alert: Pharma Company Pulls Infant Ibuprofen From CVS, Walmart, Family Dollar
Tris Pharma, Inc. has voluntarily recalled a popular infant’s Ibuprofen product that is being sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar. The recalled lots from the three stores include Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP (NSAID) 50 mg per 1.25 mL, to the retail level. The recalled products have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen. According to the company, there is a “remote possibility that infants, who may be more susceptible to a higher potency level of drug, and therefore may be more vulnerable to permanent NSAID-associated renal injury.” Adv…

Suspect Caught On Camera Stuffing Stolen Items In Pants At Westchester CVS
A sticky-fingered suspect was caught on camera allegedly stuffing hundreds of dollars in medication down his pants at a CVS in Westchester before walking away without paying. A manager at CVS on Popham Road in Scarsdale contacted police at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, when a security alarm went off in the front of the store. North Shore Farms, New Supermarket In Westchester, Due To Open By Year's End
A new supermarket is coming to Westchester. North Shore Farms is expected to open before the end of the year, as construction continues in the heart of Mamaroneck. No specific date has been set for the 13,000-square-foot North Shore Farms on Mamaroneck Avenue, where construction began over the summer. The new grocery store will replace the former site of the A&P supermarket, which has been closed for several years. A shoplifter who allegedly stole condoms, lipstick and other items from a Westchester CVS is facing a host of charges after being busted with heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said. Investigators from the Scarsdale Police Department received a report shortly before 6 p.m. on Nov. 1 of a shoplifter at CVS on Popham Road. Police are investigating a shoplifting incident at a CVS in Westchester in which two people walked out of the store with bags filled with beer, police said. Officers were dispatched to the CVS on Popham Road in Scarsdale at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, where there was a report of a Hispanic man and woman left the store with several large bags filled with beer, without paying. Police: Three Men Steal Merchandise, Flee CVS Store In Westchester
Police are investigating an alleged larceny of a CVS that reportedly occurred in Armonk. Investigators from the North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 6:50 p.m. on Good Friday from an employee at CVS on Main Street in Armonk of a larceny that had just taken place in the store, according to police. Police said that the employee said that three black men had entered the store, stolen merchandise and fled the store before officers arrived at the scene. The case remains under investigation by police in North Castle.
