Ralph Martinelli, Publisher of Westchester Magazine, Dies At 57 Longtime Westchester Magazine publisher Ralph Martinelli died over the weekend at the age of 57. Martinelli, an Ossining resident and CEO of Today Media, was an iconic figure in the county. His death on Saturday, Nov. 2 followed complications from surgery that he had more than a year ago. Martinelli was the youngest son of former Yonkers Mayor Angelo Martinelli, who died in October last year. $200K In Matching Grants Benefits Announced For 45 Westchester Arts Organizations A total of $200,000 in matching funds from the Art$WChallenge grant program has been awarded to 45 different arts organizations throughout the Westchester area. Westchester County Executive George Latimer and the Westchester County Board of Legislators worked alongside ArtsWestchester to determine the recipients of matching funds from the grant program and “provide much-needed funding for arts and culture in Westchester County.” The arts organizations raised a total of $526,158 in private funds through the Art$WChallenge program of 2018. ArtsWestchester, White Plains Unveil Colorful Street Mural White Plains Mayor Tom Roach and ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam joined the community on Monday, May 14 to celebrate the completion of a new street mural on Mamaroneck and Martine avenues.  The public art project, created by well-known street artist Wayne “Wane One” Peterkin, commemorates the 20th anniversary of the arts council building. “The public art piece serves as a colorful welcome mat inviting residents and visitors to White Plains and into ArtsWestchester’s gallery, as well as our nine-story building filled with artist studios and creative businesses,” Langsam said.
