34-Year-Old Woman Dies After Jumping From Apartment Building Roof In Tarrytown A 34-year-old woman died at a hospital after jumping from an apartment building's roof near the Hudson River in the region. The incident happened in Westchester County on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when the Brooklyn resident jumped from the roof of the Franklin Towers apartment complex at 50 White St. in Tarrytown, according to Tarrytown Police. Building To Be Demolished Following Devastating Hudson Valley Fire A Hudson Valley apartment building that was destroyed by a quick-moving fire will be demolished this week. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, at The Highlands  (the former Avalon Gardens) in Nanuet. Person Found Dead In Stairwell In Westchester Apartment Building Authorities are investigating the death of a person who was found dead in the stairwell of a Westchester apartment building.  The person was found dead in a stairwell at 345 Main St. in New Rochelle on Thursday, July 11, according to New Rochelle Police Captain J. Collins Coyne.  Detectives are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.
