National retail chain Michaels has officially committed to opening an all-new location at a busy shopping plaza in Westchester. Funeral arrangements have been announced for a beloved Northern Westchester town supervisor who died suddenly just days after being sworn in. A visitation for Yorktown Town Supervisor Thomas Diana, who died on Friday, Jan. 5 at the age of 66, will be held on Monday, Jan. 8 between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Yorktown Funeral Home located at 945 East Main St., according to his obituary. 17-Year-Old Steals Wallet From Gym Locker In Westchester: Police
A 17-year-old has found themselves facing larceny charges after allegedly stealing a wallet from a locker at a Northern Westchester gym. The arrest stemmed from a complaint that Yorktown Police received on Thursday, June 1, in which a victim told the department that someone had stolen his wallet from his locker at 24 Hour Fitness on Tuesday, May 30. The victim also told police that the wallet had contained four credit cards, which were used to make purchases the next day on Wednesday, May 31, according to Yorktown Police.
