Mercy wins Five-Set Match Over C.W. Post

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. -- Many of the current Mercy College volleyball players were in high school the last time the team won an East Coast Conference match. These players were instrumental in leading Mercy to a five-set victory over host C.W. Post in an East Coast Conference college volleyball match, Tuesday. This snapped a five-match losing streak. Brenna White rang up 22 kills, 20 digs and six assists as Mercy won the final game, 15-13. Mercy last won an East Coast Conference match in 2008. Michala Askew finished with 18 digs and McKenna Ronan added 13 digs. The duo combined for 39 assists. Nicolette Gebhardt collected 11 kills.
