HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. The Hastings-on-Hudson Recreation Department is accepting registration for the 2012 summer swim team, which will hold tryouts on Saturday, June 23.
Swimmers ages 6 to 17 are eligible to register for the tryouts on that day. Tryouts begin at 9 a.m. for first-time swimmers. The only requirement is the ability to swim one full lap across the pool.
Practices will start at the end of June with competitive meets in the Westchester Swimming Conference set for July. The membership fee is $75.
