Dobbs Ferry's Eric Paschall To Attend Fordham

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Dobbs Ferry High School basketball star Eric Paschall has made a verbal commitment to attend Fordham University in the fall of 2014.

Paschall, The Daily Voice Athlete of the Month in December who was being highly recruited by a number of top colleges, made the announcement on his Twitter account Thursday night.

Paschall, the 6-foot-6 forward/guard was one of only three juniors to win the Section 1 “Mr. Basketball award, also had offers from Virginia Commonwealth, George Mason, Providence, West Virginia, Penn State, Northeastern and Manhattan.

Paschall was a key member for the New York-based “The City” AAU National Championship team last summer. He led all of Section 1 (Westchester, Putnam and Rockland high schools) in scoring with 26.0 points per game this past winter.
