DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Schools in Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley will interrupt spring break vacations to replace days missed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
Ardsley Schools, which experienced power outages after Sandy, will be in session Tuesday through Thursday, March 26, 27 and 28. That was originally scheduled as a weeklong spring recess.
Dobbs Ferry students will be in school Monday, March 25, and Thursday, March 28, to fill the required school days.
The Hastings-on-Hudson Schools have already replaced its missed days and will enjoy a full spring recess March 25 to 29.
