Gas Line Struck In Tarrytown

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Con Edison is on the scene after a private contractor struck a gas line at 65 Church St. in Tarrytown Friday morning.

There were no injuries following the gas line rupture and police and the fire department shut down traffic for 90 minutes, Lt. John Barbelet of the Tarrytown Police said. Service was only disrupted to the residence, Barbelet said.
