Area College Coach Admits To Forcibly Touching Players

NYACK, N.Y. -- A former softball coach facing nearly 200 counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching charges, including two felonies, has cut a deal with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office that is expected to result in three years' probation and community service, according to The New York Daily News.

As a result of the plea, Kurt Ludwigsen, 44, a married father who was accused by members of Nyack College’s women’s softball team of numerous offenses, including forcibly groping and kissing them, admitted his guilt but will do no jail time and won’t have to register as a sex offender, according to the Daily News.

Although the criminal case is resolved, the students have also filed a lawsuit against Ludwigsen and the college, the Daily News reports.
