DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Angela S. Chebetar of Dobbs Ferry died Dec. 17. She was 84.
Chebetar was born to Charles and Rachel Spina of Dobbs Ferry. After marriage she settled and raised her family in Dobbs Ferry with her husband. She worked as a secretary for Sacred Heart School in Dobbs Ferry for many years.
Chebetar is survived by her children, Jean (Robert) Guberti, Michael (Christiane), Paul (Lynn) and Charlie; eight grandchildren; and a great grandchild; sister, MaryAnn Pantalemon; and brother, Charles Spina. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, "Cheb" (Charles); and sister, Barbara Heyman.
Calling hours are Sunday, Dec. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry.
