Robert Jufer, 72, pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter, a felony, and tampering with evidence, a misdemeanor. He is facing up to 22 years in state prison, according to pocononews.net. 

Jufer was arrested in Hastings in February when Hastings and Westchester County police found a cache of guns at his home on High Street in Hastings. When arraigned on Febuary 10, Jufer claimed he was innocent.

Jufer was originally charged with criminal homicide after shooting his wife in the head. The charge was dropped as part of a plea bargain, pocononews.net said. 

Jufer will be sentenced on January 2, according to pocononews.net.
