HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Lifelong Hastings-on-Hudson resident, Elva J. Taylor died March 6. She was 91.
The daughter of the late John and Ellen Madden, she was born in Hastings. She married John M. Taylor, who predeceased her in 1992. Taylor was a member of the Busy Bees and volunteered with the Hastings-on-Hudson Library. She is survived by her daughters Jayne (Richard) DeGasperi and Jeanne (David) Taylor Clamp.
Funeral arrangements are under Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Matthew Church in Hastings-on-Hudson. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
