HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Making up songs, singing the in the car, even getting trapped in the closet... such is the stuff Danny LoPriore's Vines are made up -- and it's that following that's allowed him to build his brand, giving him opportunities beyond his wildest dreams.

The Hastings resident, who also makes comedic Snapchat stories, has 585K followers On Vine, 17K on Instagram, 12K on Twitter and 15,000 on SnapChat.

Social media, he said, changed his life.

He now works as the Social Media Manager and Content Creator for WINQ, a new social polling app for millennials. The app, he said, allows folks to create their own questions and have friends vote on them. There is lots of available content.

"Social media is the forefront of modern business now," said LoPriore. "To have experience building a following of original content is a huge attribute. It's also allowed me to make contacts and friends in the social media world."

He added: "Vine has opened so many doors for me and I have them to thank for where I am now."
