Senior residents and staffers donned formal, casual, sportswear and genre fashions as they strolled the runway to the delight of residents and family members in the audience.
While everyone who participated seem to enjoy the flirtation with fashion modeling, the big winners were Sister Marion Bohen in first place, followed by senior resident Bill Oakman and staffer Karen Chase.
"What just happened?" Sister Marion said after hearing her name called as the first-place winner. "I spent 20 years in Indonesia (as a nun). I love to dance and I really liked being in the fashion show. I'm so surprised because i never won anything like this, ever."
Charles and Georgina Kerr of Yonkers and their 4-year-old granddaughter Emmalynne waked the runway in Western garb.
"This is our first time together in a fashion show that's for sure," Georgina Kerr said. "My husband (Charles) in from Oklahoma, so that was our fashion choice. It's all a lot of fun.
