DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Dobbs Ferry vocalist Kimberly Hawkey and her partner and accompanist Assaf Gleizner will perform in a showcase at the Metropolitan Room in New York city Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Hawkey, who is from Schenectady and studied at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, is the artistic coordinator at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah and a music director at the Play Group Theatre in White Plains. Gleizner studied jazz piano and music at Purchase College.
Hawkey is inviting friends and fans to the show that includes 10 performers. Reservations are required at $20 with a two-drink minimum (non-alcoholic drink are fine).
Hawkey and Gleizner will also perform in a solo show at the Metropolitan Room on July 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the solo performance are also $20.
