The event begins at Gould Park at 1 p.m., with folk songs, story telling, fife and drum at the Mead house at 12 Elm St. in Dobbs Ferry at 2 p.m.
Re-enactors will commemorate the march of Gen. George Washington's army, which started in Dobbs Ferry on Aug. 19, 1781, and ended in Virginia with a defeat of Cornwallis' army.
Plans include displaying contemporary items of Revolutionary War soldiers, and demonstrating other elements of 18th century life. These include makeup, hair, fashion and how to make tea.
The event is free, and refreshments will be served.
