Penny Lick Ice Cream Celebrates Grand Opening

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Hastings residents with a sweet tooth have a new place to call home.

Ellen Sledge's new ice cream shoppe, Penny Lick, will have its grand opening Saturday.

Penny Lick Ice Cream Company is celebrating its grand opening on Sept. 12. The day begins with a magician performing in the center of town at 11 a.m. followed by the store's opening at 11:30 a.m.

The shop is at 580 Warburton Avenue and is being run by Ellen Sledge.
