And that means free pizza tastings on opening day starting at noon with Owners Danny and Robyn Santiago personally greeting the Dobbs Ferry.community.
According to Robyn, the couple chose the area because "it's a great town with a lot of great restaurants and we wanted to be a part of that community."
The Santiago's bought Villaggio Italiano in 2015 after many years working (and meeting) there. They have since maintained much of the Hartsdale location's original traditions and charm while also upgrading certain elements including adding live jazz on Thursdays, happy hour seven days a week, and a core foundation of family.
The two plan to bring much of the same to their new Rivertown location, including the same quality diners have long appreciated. In other words, customers can expect pizza, pasta, chicken dishes, salads, sandwiches and more with sauces and dishes made to order.
The restaurant is at 20 Cedar St., (914) 274-8860. For more information, visit www.VillaggiosofDobbsFerry.com.
