And so, the Dobbs Ferry resident has taken over the space formerly occupied by City Limits in Stamford (just off I-95) and opened The Stamford Diner.
The new eatery, in all its retro glory, features a new menu, a lot of variety and lower prices to appeal to more people, he said. It officially opened on Jan. 3.
The Livanos Restaurant Group, owned by the Armonk-based Livanos family, operated the iconic City Limits Diner in Stamford for close to 15 years. The group still operates City Limits on White Plains' Central Avenue, along with Armonk's Modern Barne and Oceana, Molyvos and Ousia in Manhattan.
The Stamford Diner is at 135 Harvard Ave., (203) 348-7000.
