In Sullivan County, Village of Liberty Police were called to a home at around 6 p.m. Sunday, May 29, with reports of a two-year-old child bleeding uncontrollably from his leg, according to police. Ex-Con Caught Burglarizing Home On Security Footage, Police Say An ex-convict was sent back to jail after a local homeowner recognized him as the thief who stole $1,500 and a cell phone from his home after reviewing surveillance footage, police said.  The burglary was initially reported at a Sullivan County home on Ferndale Loomis Road in the town of Liberty on Thursday, Oct. 29, according to State Police in Liberty. Women Attack Man With Hammer, Burglarize Apartment In Monticello, Police Say Two Monticello women were arrested after allegedly attacking a man with a hammer and then burglarizing his apartment. Kaivena Woodall and Tylajah Jordan, both 22, were arrested on Monday, Feb. 25, following an investigation into the crime that took place on Feb. 6, said the Village of Liberty Police. Police responded to a residence where they found a man who reported that he had been attacked by women with a hammer who then went on to steal items from his apartment.
