Putnam County Yariel Villegas, age 24, of Carmel, has been charged with first-degree identity theft and second-degree grand larceny following an investigation, state police announced on Thursday, June 30. Man Accused Of Hitting 23-Year-Old In Head With Tire Thumper, Police Say A 53-year-old man was arrested by New York State Police after allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old man walking along an area roadway with a tire thumper. Ulster County resident Don Mackenzie, of Accord, was arrested shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22 following an investigation by New York State Police in Kingston into an alleged assault over the weekend. Area HS Varsity Coach Charged With Sexual Abuse For Alleged Relationship With Player An area high school varsity coach has been charged with engaging “in an inappropriate relationship” with a 16-year-old girl. Erin Koonz, of Kingston, was arrested on Friday, June 12, by investigators from the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center, reported the Ulster District Attorney's Office.
