Cmdr. Lucian Kins was fired as second in command of the USS Winston Churchill, a destroyer, by Navy Capt. Richard L. Boyle. Boyle, who died in August at age 89 will be buried this Friday following his death from pneumonia last month, devoted nearly half of his 90 years to military service.
