Trio Nabbed In Hudson Valley With Illegal Gun After Dispute, Cops Say Three men were charged with alleged possession of an illegal handgun after a dispute in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Orange County in the village of Maybrook around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5. The gun was discovered after the town of Montgomery Police responded to Rakov Road in Maybrook for a reported dispute with a gun, said Chief John Hank of the Montgomery Police. Area Man Charged With Murder-Arson After Intentionally Setting Fatal Fire, Officials Say A Hudson Valley man has been charged with murder and arson in connection with allegedly intentionally starting a fire at a home with people sleeping inside, killing one person. Orange County resident Ryan Veloce, age 32, of Montgomery, was charged with murder and arson on Friday, Dec. 16, in connection with the Thursday, June 10 crime, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
