Victims Awoken By Home Intruder In Hudson Valley Residents in Northern Westchester received an unexpected wake-up call after being awoken by a home invader who was burglarizing their home, State Police said. New York State Police troopers were dispatched to James Street in the Montrose area of Cortlandt shortly after 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, where there was a report of a break-in in progress. Police said the victims had been woken up that morning in their bed by the sounds of a break-in, prompting them to call 911. Teen Charged With Sexual Misconduct In Hudson Valley A 19-year-old has been arrested and charged with committing sexual misconduct in Northern Westchester, according to authorities. An investigation determined Brandon Carlos, of Croton-on-Hudson, "engaged in a course of sexual misconduct against a victim in November of 2019," state police said. State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Carlo on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and charged him with the Class A misdemeanor of sexual misconduct.
